Mario, Make Me a Model


Since 2008, the Mario, Make Me a Model contest has been making dreams come true for young, aspiring models. For the 2017 fashion event, Perillo BMW is a key sponsor.

Often shortened to M4, and not to be confused with the BMW model, Mario, Make Me a Model is often described as a “mashup of Project Runway + American Idol + America’s next Top Model.” In this year’s competition, Perillo BMW will play a key role, most notably hosting photoshoots for the top five competitors in one of our most luxurious showrooms.
The event spans three months, with the salon launch on May 14th where modeling hopefuls will audition to be a part of this program. Most years garner around 500 initial participants. Then, the group is gradually narrowed down to seven semi-finalists. Fans get to start voting for their favorite models online beginning on June 26th.

After the voting, five finalists are chosen. These finalists get to shoot CBS TV spots along with Perillo BMW ads here in the showroom. Fans then get the chance to vote again for their favorite ads starting on July 17th.

The event ends with a finale fashion show at The Geraghty on August 10th. There, Trish Perillo Inguagiato will announce the Perillo BMW Ad winner before the announcement of the Mario, Make Me a Model champion.
