Coolant regulates your vehicle's engine temperature, usually made of half water and half ethylene glycol. Water transfers heat, while ethylene glycol lowers the freezing point, essential in cold climates. Ethylene glycol is also found in "antifreeze." Always mix antifreeze and water; never use them separately in your engine.
